Together we are stronger

Padborg Transport Center was officially opened by Minister of Transport Hans Christian Schmidt on 9 November 2015, together with more than 100 business leaders and other stakeholders.

The idea behind Padborg Transport Center is that businesses in Padborg can achieve more by working together.

The individual companies in Padborg have not necessarily seen themselves as part of a cluster or a transport business center, but everyone recognizes that there are common challenges that can be more effectively solved together.

The purpose of Padborg Transport Center is to make Padborg increasingly attractive to companies within transport, logistics and related services. Initially, the focus is on a number of practical measures. These measures are intended to make Padborg more attractive to its existing users and businesses.

This includes, among other things, signage and landscaping, so that, for example, foreign drivers have better opportunities to relax and make use of the facilities available in Padborg.

Marketing Padborg as a gateway to the Nordic and European markets will also be a key focus for Padborg Transport Center. The work will be targeted so that the companies can support and strengthen one another, achieving more together than they could individually.

Through collaboration and networking, we hope to improve, among other things, the level of training and digitalization, as well as other areas in which the companies can develop.
